Hi Readers! I'm The Curvy Ginger, and I'm always looking for new ways to earn extra cash. I also love to pass those ideas on to readers, with hopes that someone else struggling financially will benefit from the information.
For almost 2 years now, I have been making extra money by taking short surveys online. I know, I know...sounds like a dream job, right? Well, please don't quit your day job yet!
Although there are people that claim to make over $1000 a month doing these online surveys, that has not been my experience thus far. I have, however, made enough money, that it's still worth my time to keep giving my "2 cents".
After almost two years of taking these surveys, I have learned which companies to avoid, but more importantly, which companies actually value my opinion...and when I say "value", I mean they don't take up much of my time, and they pay a fair incentive to complete a survey.
So here's the scoop on my Top 10 Survey Panel websites:
Vindale Research - I have been using Vindale Research from the beginning, which is saying something, because most of the sites I signed up for initially, I no longer use. I like Vindale Research because their website is very easy to use, including a list of my available surveys on the home page and the payment for each one. I get an email from Vindale Research whenever there's a new survey available, and the notifications can be customized to my preferences. Vindale Research also has a great referral program..$5 for each friend referred!

Pinecone Research - I just recently signed up with Pinecone Research and it is quickly becoming my favorite. They are serious about research, and only accept candidates that will provide honest, and consistent, answers..and they are keeping track! The first survey taken with Pinecone Research is worth $3, which is paid out immediately by check. Once the check clears, earnings can be withdrawn via PayPal or a Virtual Visa, if desired. So far, the surveys I've completed have paid at least $3, and I receive survey invitation a few times a week. This is a no-nonsense research company, and you must have a referral link to join. Lucky for you, I am providing one!

Unique Rewards - This website offers paid surveys, as well as other opportunities to earn cash. In fact, they will even pay you to listen to the radio while taking a survey! Unique Rewards will also pay for reading emails, playing games, visiting websites, and more. Once $20 is earned, "Gold Member" is achieved, which allows access to higher paying opportunities. Unique Rewards requires earnings of at least $20 before cashing out, but with all of the offers available to earn money, that doesn't take long at all.

Cash Crate - This is another favorite of mine. It's very user-friendly and always has several surveys available. In addition to giving taking surveys, Cash Crate will pay members to watch videos, play games, among other tasks. Cash Crate's "Refer a friend" program is one of the best I've seen among these websites. For each referred friend that signs up, members receive 20% of their friend's Cash Crate earnings, and 10% of the earnings from friends they refer! You do have to reach $20 for payout, but I did that in less than an hour. First payment is made by check, then members have the option of cashing out with Dwolla or PayPal.

Quick Rewards - So for those of you that prefer instant gratification like I do, here's the survey site you will love. Quick Rewards has no minimum for cashing out. That is my favorite part about this site. You can cash out using PayPal with as little as a penny, however if you prefer to redeem earnings for gift cards, the minimum is $5. Quick Rewards also has a great selection of other offers, including visiting websites and playing games for those members that want more earning opportunities.

Swagbucks - This website is popular for a reason. Swagbucks offers daily survey opportunities and several other ways to earn "swagbucks", or SB. With their "Swagbutton", it's possible to earn even when not logged in to Swagbucks. Just installing the Swagbutton" and adding as an extension to your browser, will earn you 50SB. Earn even more by following Swagbucks on social media, by watching for "Swag Codes", then entering them in on the Swagbucks website. I would suggest watching the tutorial to explore all of the ways to earn SB's, aka Swagbucks. I love SwagBucks!

Mintvine - This is another survey panel that I have been a member of for almost 2 years. In fact, I still complete at least 2-3 surveys almost everyday on Mintvine. The website is so user friendly, it's hard not to enter Mintvine's "Survey Funnel", which easily guides members from survey to survey. There is still the option to take a survey in the traditional fashion if desired, by choosing from the list of available surveys and payouts. Earn at least 1000 ($10) points to cash out with check, PayPal or Dwolla.
American Consumer Panel - This website is fairly new to me so I haven't earned much yet, but I wanted to include it in this post. American Consumer Panel offers cash to take surveys and test products. So far, I have enjoyed the surveys, and the payout has been fair for the time involved. American Consumer Panel requires members to earn at least 1000 points ($10) before cashing out, which can be done by check or PayPal.

Ipsos I-Say - If you want a great survey website that rewards loyalty, this is it. The more surveys you take, the more opportunities to earn "I-Say" points you get. I-Say also have daily polls that you can cast your opinion on, and even create your own poll, if you'd like. I have been using I-Say for about at year, and have been offered product testing opportunities as well. In fact, I received a package in the mail yesterday with 2 hair products to evaluate. The I-Say mobile app makes it easy to take surveys on the go.

Harris Poll Online - Here's a great survey website that offers points in exchange for your opinion. Harris Poll Online is a Nielsen company, a global leader in consumer research. In addition to points, you are automatically entered into a sweepstakes, even if you don't qualify for the survey. The points can be redeemed for gift cards or cash, and they will email you when they have a new survey available, usually a few times a day. Act quick if you get an email, since they only need so may people per survey.
Click here to join Harris Poll Online, and start collecting your points today! (**If you get a message saying that they are not accepting members at this time, bookmark the link and check back later in the day).
So, as you see, taking surveys online isn't a viable option if you are trying to get rich quick, but it is a great way to put some extra cash in your wallet or bank account. There are dozens of websites on the web to choose from, some are legit, and some aren't. Those listed above are the websites that I have enjoyed using.
I also have a page on my website that I update regularly with survey opportunities, including some not mentioned in this post. Click here to check it out, and while you're there, take advantage of the other money making ideas I have listed on my website.
